In the annals of the Opaline Empire, one doth oft read of treasures most wondrous, yet none surpass the glory of the Aurum Peacock. This regalia, forged in the golden age of Empress Lysandra’s reign, doth consist of a crown, a necklace, earrings, and rings, each wrought in gilded filigree and adorned with stones of shifting hue—emerald and sapphire commingled, as if the very heavens were trapped within.
The Aurum Peacock, so named for its likeness to the celestial bird of myth, served as a symbol of the empress’s divine right and peerless wisdom. It is said the jewels were imbued with magicks most rare, conferring upon their bearer a radiance that could enrapture the hearts of allies and strike fear into the souls of betrayers. Thus did Lysandra wear it in times of great import, her splendor unmatched in all the known realms.
Yet, lo, treachery didst befall the court, and the empress vanished into obscurity, bearing the regalia with her. The empire, bereft of its guiding light, fell to ruin, and the Aurum Peacock was thought lost to the mists of time.
Centuries hence, this most noble of treasures was unearthed from the ruins of an ancient estate, its brilliance undiminished by the passage of years. To gaze upon it is to witness the echoes of an empire’s former glory, a testament to the eternal power of beauty and majesty when cast in gold and gem.
The Aurum Peacock, comprising 12″ tall crown, necklace, pair of earrings and a pair of rings, features fern green AB, peridot AB and clear crystals set in gold mirror. The crown disassembles so that it may be packed flat for travel.
